Tour overview

 

Day 1 - Vorarlberg
From Schnepfau, the route heads into the Montafon valley, continuing along winding roads to high glacier roads. Highlights include two unique reservoirs. A challenging start with an alpine feel.

 

Day 2 - Grossglockner
The classic: the Grossglockner High Alpine Road is today's destination. Endless switchbacks, high mountain landscapes, and the panorama of Austria's highest mountain.

 

Day 3 - East Tyrol
Today, we'll take a short detour to Italy to experience the "most famous traffic lights." At the end of the day, accommodation awaits you at a reservoir.

 

Day 4 - Carinthia & Nockalm Road
A highlight for lovers of curves: the Nockalm Road, with its countless hairpin bends through rolling alpine meadows. The route then continues through Carinthia via idyllic side roads and panoramic mountain ranges.

 

Day 5 - Styria & Hochschwab region
Over the Seebergsattel and other secluded mountain passes, the route takes you deep into Styria. Dense forests, green alpine meadows, and a mix of challenging and relaxed sections await you – a real insider tip.

 

Day 6 - Dachstein & Salzburger Land
From Styria, the route heads toward the Dachstein massif and further into Salzburger Land. Between Ennstal and Pongau, smooth mountain passes and panoramic roads await, combined with well-known classics and quiet back roads.

 

Day 7 - Tyrol & Allgäu
The final stage leads through the Tyrolean lowlands and along the Karwendel Mountains to the Allgäu. Once again, there are many curves, sweeping Alpine panoramas, and finally a relaxing ride through the Alpine foothills back west to our starting point.
